The First Days

When you first start on your homeschooling journey get outside, have fun, and don't try and replicate school at home. Homeschooling is so much more than just book learning!
If you are new to homeschooling you need to take time for yourself and your child to learn a new way to learn. I suggest not trying to replicate school at home.
You may find online resources for school rooms or ways to make your home look like a school. They are not needed.
Learning can take place in any location. A spcific school room is not necissary. Sometimes the best school room is your own kitchen table.
When students need to move let them. If they need to get outside and run around then let it happen. Students don't need to sit in one place or compleate their work in one room. Some of my kids faviorte places to do school work are outside under our trees, on the floor, or couch. We move around all day and I am close by as I take care of my own work. We do lessons together and seperatly and move when needed.
